I made this for my grandpa a couple years ago when he was diagnosed with cancer. He was a man who loved to fish and I wanted to make him something to remind him of that to keep his mind a little bit off the pain. I’ll admit that its not the best picture ever.. but even so, it still means a lot for it to be there to remember him.
*Side Note* Sorry that it is blurry. Camera was throwing a fit. I swear, its like I have a child.

As you lay in the white bed,
You can hear the people crying,
Choking on tears.
You can also hear laughter,
The sound of laughter,
And the sound of a board game.
You look around to see where you are.
You realize that you’re wearing a multicolored dress,
You feel pain somewhere in your head,
Like someone’s poking it with a needle,
Ouch!
Your parents come into the room to see if you’re okay,
Tap tap tap like a drum beat.
The doctor comes into the room with his white suit on,
He puts you on another mobile bed as if he was rolling a log.
You exit the room you were in,
Wondering where you’ll go next.
*Side Note* I had wrote this almost a half a year after my first brain surgery.

Ok, so obviously I haven’t been on track with my afternoon posts. It’s testing time at school and I really have to study. Sadly.. I am pushing myself so hard that I end up falling asleep before I even finish. I try to take little breaks in between to play a round of a short game or listen to music. But it’s not fair to you guys. So what I think I’m going to do is post the thank you posts in the morning for the previous day, and then do one post. Ill alternate the days between art/photography and writing to hopefully keep a balance between those who follow for the writing and those who follow for the art. I hope it will all be worth it in the end. See you guys!
The world has been reduced to rubble. No more parks, buildings, animals or vegetation to be found… We are all fighting for food.Some… have taken drastic measures to get food. What happened to this world? We were already in Hell, so why did they put us even further down in chaos and destruction? Kids are carrying guns, almost no one is reproducing, we are all doomed for if we can’t get our act together.I think we are in more than just Hell right now.. we are in an apocalypse.
