Late Thank You Post #72

Hey guys. I know I haven’t been keeping up with the posts and all but I have a lot of stress and depression that’s been happening and I didn’t want it to effect the blog. I finally got my email to work and redid one of the 30 day challenge drawings to somewhat celebrate it but I don’t think you guys like them as much as my regular posts. So I’m going to keep on doing them it’s just that I won’t post them. I’ll post the ones that I sent through my email but after that no more posts on them. So here for a few days I think I’m going to post one post per day until the stress and depression goes away. I doubt it’ll take that long but I’m not 100% sure. I hope you guys can understand..

But enough of that, this is a thank you post. Thank you so much Misskaren, amorebeyoutifulyou, Robert Okaji, Phoenix, StCyril, I of July, Shawn L. Bird, admirablylegal, and yasniger. Also, welcome to the writing blog I of July. Thank you everyone for coming and I hope that all of you are having wonderful lives.

*Side Note* No, that is not a tattoo. I have just gotten into a habit of drawing on myself when I’m bored.

Out In The Country

Riding in a truck,

On a small dirt road,

Empty and under a clear blue sky,

Nothing is here for miles and miles,

It’s just you and yourself,

Listening to the radio,

In our own solitude,

Going nowhere,

With no worries,

And no cares,

Until the stars come out,

And staring at them for hours in the back of the truck,

Until midnight comes.

The Art Of Not Being Alone (True Story)

There isn’t anything worse than a bully. To dread something in your future that seems inevitable. It makes you feel, at times, alone in this world, like no one cares. All because you’re different, You laugh a certain way, and how you look.. None f it is fair. But remember that you’re not alone. You have friends, a community, a world, that can and will help you. Just because schools now a days don’t care anymore about bullying, doesn’t mean that no one else will listen. I was bullied when I was little and my own parents didn’t believe any of the stories I was telling them, and I had no family and no friends at the time outside of my parents and little sister. I didn’t think anyone cared about me. But one kid, one day, came up to me and just listened to me. I was so bullied and picked on that I was depressed, that I thought the world would be better off without me. And having that one friend, who didn’t have to listen or worry about me, made a huge change in my life. I was much happier from then on. So please, if there is any way possible that I could help or if you want to talk about it then please go ahead.

Forever

I don’t care much for things. Things are just for the now and not for the later. They’re used to make us feel better about ourselves, but it never lasts. I am a person of memories. You want to give me a present? Take me somewhere. You want us to laugh? Take me to an amusement park on a hot day and see who can eat our ice cream the fastest before it melts. Want me to be in awe? Take me to the mountains or a cave. Want to see me happy? Take me dancing or write me a letter. Those are the things that last forever.

Growing Up

At first sight,

He is loved,

When he first speaks,

He is celebrated,

On his first birthday,

He was a goofball,

His first steps,

Took him farther then he could imagine,

His first day at school,

Was one that I worried,

His first friend,

Is one he will keep forever,

At night,

I would read to  him,

And when he slept,

He was peaceful,

His first test,

Wasn’t an easy one,

His first girlfriend,

Not more than a day did it last,

His first heart break,

Also broke my heart,

His first day in middle school,

Opened my eyes of how old he is,

His first sport,

Same day he broke his leg,

His first not,

From a trombone was grand,

His first game,

Was cheerful,

His first concert,

Speechless,

Another girlfriend,

Only a month did it last,

And into high school,

Where I wish I could reverse time,

To see him little again,

His first time being bullied,

It had hurt a lot,

But in the end,

He was protected,

By his friends and family around him,

His first solo,

He was so nervous,

All those eyes on him,

But I cheered,

And cried,

Know my baby boy was growing up,

Another girlfriend,

I was sure wouldn’t last,

Never left,

His graduation

My tears like Niagara Falls,

His acceptance into college,

One that will make him pursue his dreams,

A marriage letter,

The greatest day of his life,

A first child,

A baby girl,

One he will spoil and love,

And now he will know what I see in him,

Through all the years,

And will still see in him,

Until my untimely death.
